Military Chic-Street Style inspiration made simple

When looking for a chic military style focus on keeping it simple.

We've all either seen or have inadvertently subjected ourselves to being stopped on the street and given a military salute because we were in full army fatigue, not the business.

In order to make the task simpler start off with choosing what pieces of your outfit will be "the solids".  For example as shown in the picture I chose a solid black tank dress and a solid olive green jacket with simple gold details. Now that I have a base I chose to bring in the fatigue booties that tie in with the tank dress and jacket. Next, I elected to pull another color from the shoe . The Louis Vuitton yellow and black handbag  perfect for this look (colors were extracted from booties). Finally,  choosing the perfect accessories to complete your outfit is imperative.
I chose to use a layer of rings, gold watch, bamboo earrings and aviator shades. In keeping with "keeping it simple", choose an easy, fresh and clean look in regards to your choice of make up. As I always suggest, start off with a clean canvas (your face). After you cleanse,  moisturize, apply your make-up (cover up, contouring), natural tone eyeshadows, black mascara, blush (nothing heavy) and a nude lip. A sleek ponytail would complete this "Street Style"  look, chic and simple.
